About Gabriella

Gabriella Lancia, PhD, is an instructional designer and psychological consultant based in Toronto, Canada. She is a Lead Designer at EPAM Systems, where she creates learning experiences, and she consults with children, adolescents, and adults.

Gabriella earned her PhD in Developmental Psychology and Education from the University of Toronto (OISE), where her research centered on emotions, instruction, and online learning. Her work in the clinical and research space spans child psychology through adulthood, specializing in understanding emotions in teaching and learning.

In her spare time, Gabriella enjoys building her writing portfolio, spending time with her family, and walking her dog.
